Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 July 2026

Reeflow ("the app") is developed by Webkoding ("we", "us"). This policy explains, plainly, what data the app handles and where it goes. We collect as little as possible — and we do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

The short version. Your tank data lives in your own iCloud account, not on our servers. We use anonymous analytics and crash reporting to improve the app. Photos are sent for identification only when you choose to run a camera diagnosis. There is no advertising and no ad tracking.

1Your tank data stays in your iCloud

The tanks, readings, doses, livestock and maintenance tasks you create are stored on your device and synced through your private Apple iCloud (CloudKit) database. This uses the Apple ID already on your device. We — Webkoding — have no access to this data and it never reaches a Reeflow server. If you disable iCloud, the data stays only on your device.

2Analytics & crash reporting

To understand which features are used and to fix problems, the app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. This collects:

Data typeWhat it isLinked to you?
Product interactionWhich screens and features are used — never the values of your readings, tank volumes, dose amounts or livestock. No
Crash dataDiagnostic reports when the app crashes. No
Performance dataLaunch time and responsiveness metrics. No
Device identifierAn anonymous instance identifier used by Firebase. No

This information is not linked to your identity, and the app does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) or any cross-app / cross-site tracking.

3Subscriptions

Reeflow Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Payments are processed by Apple — we never see your card or payment details. We use Adapty to manage subscription entitlements (whether your Pro access is active) and related purchase history. This lets your subscription follow you across your devices.

4Camera diagnosis

Camera diagnosis is opt-in and happens only when you take a photo and tap to diagnose. At that moment, the photo is transmitted to our processing service and to Google's Gemini API to identify algae, pests or coral health. The photo is used only to return that single result. We do not store your photos and we do not use them to train our own models. Photos are never uploaded in the background.

5Sign in with Apple (optional)

Signing in is optional — the app works fully without it. Its only purpose is to link your subscription to a stable identifier so it follows you across devices and reinstalls. If you sign in, we receive an anonymous Apple user identifier (and your name only if you choose to share it). We never request your email address. You can sign out at any time in Settings.

6What we do not do

7Third parties & international transfers

The services above (Apple iCloud, Google Firebase, Google Gemini, Adapty) process data on our behalf and may store it on servers outside your country, including the United States and the EU. Each is bound by its own privacy terms and appropriate transfer safeguards.

8Your rights

Under the GDPR, KVKK and similar laws you may access, correct or delete your data:

9Data retention

Your tank data is retained in your iCloud for as long as you keep it — you control it. Anonymous analytics and crash data are retained according to the standard retention periods of Firebase. Subscription records are retained as required for billing and tax purposes.

10Children

Reeflow is rated 4+ and is intended for a general audience of aquarium hobbyists. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.

This website

This website (reeflow.webkodingtheme.com) uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits, to see which pages and referring sites bring people here, and to record when a visitor taps through to the App Store. It collects the page viewed, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and the referring site. IP addresses are anonymised, and Google advertising signals and ad personalisation are switched off — this data is never used to build an advertising profile and is never joined to anything you do inside the app. See Google’s privacy policy. This section covers the website only; how the app itself handles your data is described above.
